911 Remember & Prepare
Saturday, September 10, 2011 from 8am to 4 pm
Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Regional Training Center, (see map) (see bus routes)
On the corner of Service and Crows Landing Road
A day set aside to remember and commemorate those who lost their lives 10 years ago on 911 and to teach our community how to be prepared for future disasters of any kind. Find out more.
Please come and join our 5K RUN/WALK, participate with our HONOR GUARD in the pledge of allegiance and National Anthem, enjoy a PANCAKE BREAKFAST, listen to our CHILDREN SING, or see their ART, learn and become certified to use a HAM RADIO or do CPR, take the first step to become a member of C.E.R.T., taste a bit of DUTCH OVEN cooking, or build an EMERGENCY KIT. You can climb a ROCK WALL, add your loved ones picture to our WALL OF REMEMBRANCE, see the evolution of TRACTORS throughout history, develop a FOOD STORAGE plan, watch the Sheriff’s HELICOPTER land, sit inside a real POLICE CAR – all to the beat of KAT COUNTRY.
There’s more! See our full schedule inside.
REMEMBER what came, PREPARE for what comes.
